We have owned this DVD player less than a year and that has stopped working. Not recognizing that is connected to the TV, and not be operated for more than a minute (you lose little by little juice and then fades OFF). Like the other reviewer said, it worked very well until now, but I think it's fair to expect more than a year a piece of electronic equipment. You do not know what it will cost to repair, but we believe that at a retail price of just over $ 100, we should probably only buya new one. Is not a pioneer though!

I have owned a player DV-410V for about 15 months and was very satisfied with the operation until his recent death. You can not load the DVD attempts to do so for about 1 minute, then reports "NO DISC". I tried with several disks, commercial and home burned, but without success. After a vain attempt to clean the sensor head, I have given and the intention to replace it. Best guess is that the disk drive broke, no reason to suspect failure of electronics; function has been temporarily restored after cleaning.
The player has been used for about 5 hours a week during its short operational life.

The player receives high marks for service, the rating of two stars is because of the short duration. Fairness requires highlighting the possibility that this unit has an incorrect value.

A nice piece of equipment at a reasonable price and great value. Fixed many problems with an old car. Pioneer is good!
