Best HDTV Receiver! – hometech –
I do not understand why people give negative votes. I used different types of HDTV receivers, including DVD recorders with HD tuner. By far, this is the best in terms of image quality, features and quality built. Highly recommended.

What a piece of scrap this receptor is! The picture quality on non-HD programming is mediocre at best even if the HD picture is amazing. The problem is that only a handful of shows in HD on DirecTV. The first problem I had was when the analog receiver went out so I could not watch cable or conventional air emissions. The receiver is soon to close for no reason. After you have stopped, would need to be completely reprogrammed. Now, frozen andyou can not turn off, change channels or work with the remote control receiver or directly on the box. The producer told me to disconnect and reconnect after 15 minutes. Still frozen. If I had not had for 5 months already, I tried to return it and get a Sony.

I have this unit for a year and I had to change three occasions. The receiver inexplicably stopped working again. Samsung support has suggested that you unplug the receiver temporarily to restore the settings and get a picture. This worked occasionally, until finally stopped working all together. I could only receive the audio signal no picture on cable, air or satellite. A second receiver was posted for freeto replace the "defective receiver. After hanging the" new handset, which has received more inexplicably-air channels in addition to cable. The only answer to Samsung was the antenna for local HDTV has been the problem.
