I bought this DVD changer in October '07 and July '08 has begun to die, as described in other reviews. We always want to change the chapters will not play discs that I recorded television legitimate and refuses to even play store bought DVDs of concerts in the menu fall after a fall of five minutes. I refuse to have another Sony product in my house that day. There was a time synonymous with Sony quality, but this is a bunch of crap! Add to that the fact that Sony has for the peoplecomputers with malware copy protection, I would say are the lowest form of business that exists and should be avoided at all costs!

Great DVD Player – Sounds Right –
Works well and plays all DIVX formats easily. Upconverts with a ton of menu options to change. Marantz and air quality more than it is. Very pleased with purchase.

For the price, this is an exceptional DVD player. I bought it to play Region 2 DVD, and although the blurb on Amazon says it will play right out of the box, I did not. However, a search on the web quickly gave me the code point, and now works as a region free player. Great picture, great sound, great price and I say no? Can not go wrong.

I wanted to replace my old Pioneer DVD player used as a CD player, and when I saw that and with incredibly low prices do not believe that even once.
But what I can say. Just buy it, you will not be disappointed, excellent as a junior HI-FI CD player. Excellent.

I just returned my Mintek 26 "LCD HDTV. The company is currently in bankruptcy. They have been involved in DVD players with batteries of laptop that caught fire in 2005. The questions are consistent for all their products, which work very well for a brief moment, then the slot-DVD no longer works, or the buttons on the TV actually stopped working, making it impossible to see anything except the most recent DVD you put in (in my case it was my son Thomas the video of the train. I stillnightmares). That said, please do a review of Internet sites carefully before considering any product Mintek! Most companies respond to their security, even after the cessation of the activity. These guys are not!
