Awesome Device – Alan L. Taylor –
An ideal device for watching movies on your HDTV. I added the wireless option and found it very easy to configure and start. Movies I heard, considered a new collection of family photos and surfing You Tube. I recently added Playon for film and TV extra options. Overall it was a great and easy to use devices. regrest NO to all!

I bought this unit today to think that had a lot of tonal characteristics Neat. Start.

First – Yes, you can play many channels. About 80% of them are news channels. Some of the other parts of the world. It 'very unfortunate that I have better things to do than watch news channels. So, I must say that this device is useless in terms of channel.

Second – The device has an HDMI port, but does not play true HDTV. In fact, on my screen 52 ½ "videos that I played (nottotally the fault of Netgear Besides the material quality of the device may be) were rough and grainy. Especially because most of videos out there that are streamed are of poor quality to begin with. Thus, most of the channels and videos that, in my opinion unwatchable.

Third – The device did not synchronize with your PC properly. It 'been a pain to install. I lost my patience with him very quickly. I also tried the Playon program. Properly installed and connected todevice from the PC. But of course Playon is a demand for payment which is very poorly developed. When I tried to play something on it 60% of the time returns to me and kicked in the main menu or what I tried to watch. The buffer capacity are no less unacceptable. It 'was also something SLOOOOW upload Netgear device. Sure as the bandwidth could be to blame. But I disagree because I listen to Netflix all the time and rarely have connection problems. My latency is usuallygreat. I play many games online with little or no delay. I really can not at this point.

Fourth – I tried to listen to my Netflix Playon SLOOOOW using this unit and was … it was so slow that it would charge my tail now. After waiting about 3 or 4 minutes (it takes about 10 seconds or less my XBOX 360 to load my tail now) I decided not to use it on Netflix.

Fifth – Almost all devices can play my Xbox can do. Especially as its interface withPlayon. Who, by the way the navigation menu and everything is much faster to search and sort on Xbox then this little device could not handle.

Conclusion: Spend $ 80 or more and then just buy an Xbox 360. And 'much faster. This device is not worth your time. I left the box for a total of maybe three hours. He is now back in the area and return to the store. I bought this camera thinking negative comments on this site are probably unjustified.Perhaps they knew what they were doing or something. They were right. Pass this one, trust me! I usually do not write a review, unless something strikes me or bother me really. I thought I'd give another chance and Netgear, I have not failed yet. And believe me, I used the installer and a good network speed. Netgear has certainly deteriorated, with their products lately.

Let me start by saying that this box is cheaply made, the software that is seriously a joke. My 32 years ATARI console has better graphics and software of this joke box, not to mention does not support many video formats such as RMVB and many others for me, is almost nothing.

Netgear claims that this box is HD capable and is another joke. I can see a better picture of my VCR for 30 years under this joke! Well, yesterday I got mine, which is alreadyis the way back to Amazon! want to kick .. HD digital is able to network, try the "Brite-View Cinematube BV-5005HD" at Amazon. I promise, you will fall inlove with him and he is about the same price.
