I 50PS80 LG for three days. I love television and we believe it is worth the price. Besides a great design and image exceedingly well, this HDTV features Netcast, you can access with a broadband Internet connection. This gives you entree Netflix movies (with subscription), and also the Vudu movie service – without having to buy and attach the squares of these two services. Netflix, in particular, is a godsend for less than $ 10 a month, you canmovies you want to hear from their instant queue (which has about 10,000). Addition, Yahoo Widgets Netcast features for quick access to weather and headline news. And there is also a function to show pictures and play music on television.

Feature Netcast on television also gives you access to YouTube, which was an important selling point for me. Unfortunately, not YouTube on TV is flexible as YouTube on a computer. You can not createplaylist, or you can play a video in continuous loop. Instead, you must interact with the remote control to access each video from a watchlist. Perhaps this will be corrected with a software update at a later date. In addition, there were some problems with the functionality of YouTube. If I scroll through a list of videos too fast, had a tendency to detach and return the distribution of images. This seems to have decreased over time. The TV has all the usual inputsyou would expect from a collection of luxury of LG, including 4 HDMI inputs. However, it has only one antenna input and does not have a slot for an adapter cable. I do not know how many televisions are competing this gap.

The audio system is very good television, though probably not as good as the Mitsubishi September Unisen much more expensive. However, I doubt that many people would be unhappy with the sound that emanates from this HDTV, the best that can be receivedwithout attaching a home theater system. And the image of some movies – and even some that are not in HD – was out of this world. It provides a true cinematic experience. In total, the LG 50PS80 is a bargain for the price in my opinion.
