“Up-converting” is useless in a DVD player – David C. Everett – IA United States
OK, maybe I am a bit 'of "jihad" here against these up-converting DVD players, but bear with me because I have a valid argument.

Do not buy any DVD player, because it can up-conversion to HD. "Evaluating all DVD players if they are good, or have the necessary connections (DVI, HDMI, etc.) or the price of your budget. This may be a good DVD player but do not buy just because it is able to convert and not use the features of recent embodiment of this playerif not buy it.

If your TV supports 720p or higher input via DVI or HDMI, then it is already scaling the image to fit the native resolution of your display device. And if they do a better job of it than any DVD player, then you bought the wrong TV.

They spend lots of time to enter the level of imaging technology and interpolation line in the product description, and is very accurate, but I do not understand is why it seems DVD Player $ 200would do a better job of what they produce thousands of dollars of television that the technology of scale already integrated into a device designed for the specific display in the box.

My last point: If this technology Coverting is a good idea, because Samsung is the only one to do? Why does not Pioneer, Panasonic, Sony, JVC, and Denon? (Because they know that the technology is usless).

Bad Product – G. P. – Los Angeles, CA USA
Stay away from this book unless you love your DVD movie to freeze and plunge in the most inopportune moments. Last night I had to walk around the room and use my old DVD player $ 75 to finish watching a movie. Do not waste your money.

Not bad, needs work. – NetGod –
I had it connected to my Panasonic Plasma ED for several months. Connections: DVI-Plasma Optical Denon 2802. Excellent image quality. Resizing is a bit 'unbalanced and needs some work. I have not seen a picture or undesirable sound effects. Not a bad DVD player.

buy it now!
