A cost-efficient way of transferring programs from DVR to DVD – Dokusentia – Lexington, SC USA
I recently bought the Philips DVDR3390 because of the low price and brand. I also have a brand Philips DVD player and plasma TV.
Before buying, I read many reviews on Amazon about this DVD-R and learned a few things. Before recording a single image, I visited Philips online and downloaded the latest firmware update. After burning a CD-R and play it on DVD-R, the update is complete.
I used Verbatim DVD + R for burning programs Off My DVRand + 80 hours of burning later, I have not met a single question that burns.
I did not use the player to modify programs, burn them to DVD-RW or change the auto-generated menus, just "burn, finalize and go".
After reading many of the discs on other DVD players, for what I need, I am quite happy with the Philips DVDR3390.
Pile of Junk with a Mind of it’s Own – L. Bradshaw – Fort Worth, Texas USA
This could be the biggest pile of electronic waste that I have ever bought, and bought a lot of electronic products. This thing, but about the extent of it. Has never worked properly … arrest record on his own in the middle of a recording, saying it was not hard recordaba … then save it (temporarily) before stopping the recording in the middle of the show! I looted a tent canoe DVD, praying, hoping that this machine should show himself, but had a dog that has neverconducted a tour … except maybe Play Dead.
JUNK – Rocco Savino –
bought this camera and used it once and then dismissed the tray jamed have never receieved device If you're not afraid to talk to everyone outside of the United States then your in for a treat never had a new unit that I have to buy another on (but certinly (MAI Philips)

My First Blue Ray – S. Knapp –
Even with an old TV and Blu-Ray DVD, there is a considerable improvement in the sound and clarity.
It was set up a breeze. Once again, Amazon has beaten all other sites, at the time of purchase. I like how I take orders.
Blu-ray Disc Player – Lawrence Bryant –
This image Blu-ray ones are the bright colors and you can really tell the difference between Blu-ray and regular DVD. The other most upconverting DVD quality Blu-ray. The draw is again the startup time is slow, it takes about 3 or 4 minutes to load before the menu screen. Unlike the price is high, this is my first Blu-ray, so I'm not sure if this is normal for a Blu-ray.
Great product low versatility – J. Alfonso – Bogota, Colombia
I bought this player because I wanted to replace my Philips DVP5100. I chose Philips expect the same quality and versatility in a news reader.
I was dissapointed to hear the BDP5010 is a FUNAI and even if it is of sufficient quality for the price I paid this is not a market.
I have not found a way to dispense with the region and had to keep my dvp 5100 to play my Region 4 DVD
